Love one another as I have loved you,so you must love one another.By this all men will know that you are my disciples,if you love one another. John 13:34-35
I felt like there was an "Amish Barn Raising" going on at my home today. Only it wasn't a barn being built, but beautiful new steps for my porch. Wasn't the Amish doing the work either, but the same spirit behind the work. Willing hands to work for Christ, helping others who have a need! I feel like one very blessed lady. My heart is grateful for the kindness shown. I pray that God may bless each one who shared in the work of this project with a double portion of his grace and mercy.
And to set off the new steps,my son Thomas went flower shopping for me at the flea market.
He picked out two beautiful hanging baskets of Petunias and a flat of Spanish Moss.
These are named "Sweet Sunshine" Petunia. |
It was a wonderful day...I fixed a noon meal for everyone of Beans,Rice and Mexican Cornbread..with sweet iced tea to drink!
Blessings,Shelley

Well I guess the Amish don't have the corner of the market on neighborliness. Your porch looks lovely and that hanging pink petunia is so gorgeous. All the flowers are.
