Remember this old bed frame I kept in my flowerbed? Well my talented son made another bench from it. I just love this one. Not only because the bed is very old,but the boards he used to make the seat are from the old tongue and groove style floors. Then he made horseshoe shapes on the seat. I think he did a wonderful job.
What do you think?
Now,remember this one?
Lookie here...........

Great new look for both the bed and the bench! You've got a super talented helper there, don't you? It's 90 degrees in Houston today.....hope you are staying cool, but since you're in Texas...most likely not! :)
I love seeing new purposes for old things. Your son does great work. Love the new color on the bench!
Wow, those are fabulous!
Awesome! May I borrow him for a bit? Great benches.

Oh wow Shelley! Pour some sugar on Shelley and spoil her rotten! I love it, what a great thing to do for you. I'm so happy you are getting your yard and porch pretty!

I'm off to work, I had a job offer the other day back to senior living (another company). Praying about this, I have some reservations about it.
Len had another doc report about weight, we are both heading to the land of weight loss due to sore knees and joints and being exhausted all the time. Hard work, but for the good of our health. It's a must.
Kara has a certain shine in her eyes, she is so excited. Two weeks from today...yeah!
