Coming Along......
My bedroom is coming along slower, but surely. Trying to decide what is most important to me as I continue to weed through my things. These things you see are some of the things I love and will hang on to for a while longer :) The old sewing basket I have had since I started housekeeping many years ago....I can't even remember where I got it,its been so long, but I am thinking I purchased it secondhand at a thrift store or such!
The vintage tin under it holds more sewing notions. The old Tiny Tears doll...I adore! The Willow Tree angel my daughter Kathy bought for me about five years ago when I had surgery. The Faith,Family and Friends sign my daughter Regina got me last mothers day. The sweet chippy red stove was handmade by someone....I just don't know who :) My two little prim dolls..Patty and Pearl are stuck inside the hole on top of it. Love the little child's egg basket as well, and the scarf that is under everything. It looks like a primitive pattern and was made in Scotland .Then next to the stove you will find a small water globe I brought home from San Diego when I recently went to see my son graduate from the Marines. The old picture on the wall is "Frank and Bell". They were distant cousins from my children's fathers side of the family. So that's a start on getting everything to come together in the bedroom. Of course,I do love my books, but I am weeding through those also after I have read them. I have been getting a lot of reading done as of late.
As you can see I played with one of the photos at Pic Monkey and made it my header. Its a fun place and free....you can find it here. Today I am going to the park with other family members to celebrate my mama!
I pray your day is a blessed one as well...Shelley

Your bedroom is coming along nicely! It's fun to remember where things came from as your tweak or remodel! I noticed your willow tree angel. My mom collects those.
And I LOVE pic monkey! :)
Have a great Saturday, Shelley!

I love using Picmonkey, too. And your shelves look great...with all of your favorite things! I love your beautiful doll, of course! I think I had one like that when I was a girl! Enjoy your week, my friend!
PS Does your angel have a seashell in her hand? I've never seen this one before! WOW!
