Suffer the little children............

We had VBS at church this week...what a blessing seeing all these little ones tarrying at the alters. That wee one would be my sweet grand baby,Jaxon...laying his little hands on in prayer.  Things got a little wild at times, but it was a very blessed time for kiddos and grown ups alike.

But Jesus said, suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven Matt. 19:14

I love VBS. I have such fond and uplifting memories through the years.Best of all I agree is to watch one of your grandchildren respond at the end of the week. When My own children responded years ago on those HOT summer days I was thrilled.A few years ago when I had more energy, one of the best of memories was as a teacher of vbs.Every day I got to be an astronomer. It was a blast.Love Denise

Dear Shelley,

What a precious picture of the faith of little children! I do hope that things are cooling off for you down there; we finally had some rain to cool off our home here; I didn't have to turn the air conditioner until the afternoon, instead of at 9 a.m.! :)

Blessings to you, dear friend,

Marqueta

Little children are so innocent. They need to be treated with such kindness, as they have to realize their potential. I fondly remember my grandmothers and how they encouraged and loved me, and Shelley, I know your grandchildren will look back and think the same of you!

I thought of you at that Christmas museum! I also thought a funny thought....it would be like the "twilight zone" to be in there and freeze in time! (I almost wanted to!)

When we lived in TX, we used to go see this big Christmas light display in Hallsville. One man did it all on his property! That is something nostalgic! love, andrea

Oh Shelley what a precious photo. I said a little prayer of my own for Jaxon and my own sweet grandbabies, that they would continue to grow in love and knowledge of our Savior.
