I have gotten my living room space a bit more to my satisfaction now. Its been alot of work, and not easy for me physically ,but I am liking how its coming together. I have decided to add about three or four houseplants to the space. I researched to see which ones were the best for making the air in the home more healthy. I came up with a list of 19 plants found here, that clean the air and remove toxins! I have already purchased a small Schefflera plant and will be buying a few more from the list as time goes by. Of course, if you have animals, you must be careful because most of these plants on the list are poisonous to cats and dogs, and some are listed as poisonous even to small children.
I am very appreciative to all our military services, and give my thanks for all they do...past,present,and future! With all the many problems our country has at this time, there is still so very much to be grateful for. I am still very thankful to be living in the land of the free ,and the home of the brave.

Thanks for that link, Shelley. I had just bought a small schefflera myself because they're one of my favorites. I'm glad to read that they help purify the air and I am inspired now to get more of the ones from the list. Have a blessed weekend! Twyla
I need to get some more houseplants, too. I remember the aloe vera plants are supposed to be good. Enjoy your weekend my friend.
I don't have that many houseplants, but the ones I do have, I thoroughly enjoy all year round... have a blessed weekend :) m.
Hi Shelley, thank you so very much for following my blog.
I love your blog too.
Those houseplants sound great. I have a lot of those plants on the list in my house too. I love houseplants ; )
Happy memorial weekend to you !!
Hope you have a nice Memorial Day... We do not have any plans either.. I am hoping to do some sewing.
I love houseplants ..They make the room seem fresher.. Proud you got your living room done.
Happy Memorial Day. I just realized that your youngest son and my youngest son are both in the military. Something about the youngest...!
I think philodendrons do very well without needing sun. And spider plants are fun to watch grow with their babies!
Enjoy your plants! That is such a nice way to add "life" to our homes!
Blessings upon your Sunday!
