Today the plan is to do some puttering around my home. Clean, organizing a bit...moving things around,just make things homey. I picked up a pretty blue valance at Goodwill on Saturday that I am going to hang in the front window of my living room.(blue is becoming a favorite color of mine).I plan to create just a small Valentine display. As I said ..Putter! One of my favorite things to do but, haven't been in the mood to do it in a while. To Putter means to ..busy or occupy oneself in a leisurely,causal manner.,to move or go about slowly.....I am quite the turtle these days...slowly ..very slowly ...smile.

Dinning Room is blue and white. And somehow my bedroom has become blue and white. It's funny I tried to put every other color in my bedroom I had moved in about a year or so ago..and nothing seem to satisfy me for this room and I never in the past had a problem with decorating. But this bedroom gave me a hard time... and one day a month or two ago I thought well blue is my last resort plus I had found these pretty blue sheers at the goodwill and that did it it seems to fit well so I pulled out the rest of the blue and white things ...so except for the bathroom and Living Room the rest is blue and some white. My mom used to call that "piddlin'".
My husband laughs at me sometimes because he'll ask me what I'm doing and I'll say oh, just piddlin'. Whatever you call it, it's good for the soul!
I putter too much! But I love it. I love visiting your blog. It is so inspiring!

I love a good puttering day, too. Isn't funny how our love affair with color goes in cycles.
There certainly isn't anything wrong with being "turtle-like." :) I like to putter around my home as well. It sure beats dashing here and there like a little mad woman! :)

Hi Shelley, I love to see what you have been doing. I love to putter too, but I think it's something in the air. I have been so slow too.
It is very cold here now for this time of year and I tend to hibernate I think ; )
