Your will be done on Earth.....Even so Lord Jesus.

And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword. Rev. 6:4

While there is evil in this world, there will always be killings, and other terrible things happening. The only real peace living in this world is found through Christ Jesus. We will face tribulations all through our lives ,but we can be more than conquerors through the blood of Christ. It does no good to try and understand...we can't...there is no reasoning for such horrific hatred, except that while Satan rules this earth, these things will continue to happen ,and they will only grow worse!  Eph. 2:2 UNTIL...God the Father declares... ENOUGH! I believe the only reason he tarries is for lost souls to come unto him, before the door is closed forever.

I pray for those lives so ravaged by this terrible, hateful act of killing, maiming, and wounding in Boston. Jesus came to declare...Love your neighbor as yourself. This is the work of the evil one,if you are a Christian, then you must know this is his way. JESUS SAID....Let not your hearts be troubled....HIS WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN....ONE DAY...SO BE IT LORD JESUS.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3

Come Quickly,Lord Jesus.

Wild mushrooms in my yard.
One single beautiful rose on my poor sick rose bush.
The tiny speck on top of this huge water tower is my eldest son Thomas. This is his job, building and repairing water towers! Yes,another reason I am a praying mother.

Asking prayer for a blogging friend,  Viv out on a Whim... has a dear sweet grandson gone to be with Jesus...at just 15 days old. You may visit her here ...Sometimes we just think our trials are hard until you learn what someone else is walking through.....Asking God to bless her and her family...especially the young parents of this sweet baby boy ...Jacob.

Blessings to all....

Morning Prayers......

Most days I lie in my bed of a morning upon awaking from sleep and greet the day by offering morning prayers to my Heavenly Father. When I do this,I find my day is so much more clam, peaceful and pleasant. I find that whatever I put my hand to do,happens with so much less complication and with ease.
Some days I just whisper a word of thanks to God for a new day,a new beginning, another chance at devoting my time and efforts to him. Some days I sit on the side of my bed and quote prayers from this little Pocket Prayer Book. I don't remember how I came about to possess it. But it has been with me for a long time now. It has a copyright of 1941 and was distributed by the "Upper Room".
I find it important that our first thoughts of each new day, should be of God. When they are, then our day is a much better day, indeed!

This little book of devotions and prayers stays mostly in my side table drawer next to my bed,but I also carry it in my purse from time to time. The prayers it holds have brought me much comfort! I also have another book of prayers in my side table drawer. Those prayers are prayers written from my own heart. Most of them not for myself ,but for others. I go back through it from time to time praying those prayers over to God. I can also look back and see how those prayers were answered, how God moved on behalf of each individual whom I prayed for. Keeping a prayer journal is a good thing. Has been for me anyway.

"O Lord,my God,what is Thy will for me today? What task has Thou for me? What opportunity hast Thou placed in my way? Open mine eyes that I may discover Thy will! Save me from wasting the new day. May I turn it into eternal profit!"- John H.Jowett.

Blessings to all,Shelley
