Picking Peaches and other things..........

The family all came home with me after church today. We had a good day together. The weather was beautiful. My oldest son cooked meat on the grill, the girls made potato salad and desserts! We picked peaches from the peach tree, made laundry soap and the kids played and had a good time till it was time to go back to church. I love days like these.

Do you really have a peach tree?

One time I went to Arizona to visit my uncle and he had orange and lemon tree's in his back yard.

Okay, in Washington you are more likely to find apple trees and plum trees and a whole lot of strawberry bushes and miles of raspberries...but not until June.

What a fun day for all of you. I love those kind of days too!

Did you get my letter?

love the photos....and I know the peaches are probably gone by now, if its anything like our house! growing up we had a wonderful peach tree that had the best huge peaches...the previous owner had grown the tree from a peach pit....they were wonderfully sweet and juicy...sadly when my parents sold the house, the new owners remodeled and took the tree out.....what they missed!
