Fruitful Plans............

Google image

This week I intend to make a few changes in how I redeem my time. I aim to spend more quality time in prayer, studying God's word, trying at least one new recipe each week, doing some type of exercise, although that may mean baby steps for me...smile. I figure anything is better than not trying at all. And if my daughter Regina will agree to go with me on Tuesdays...I would like to start attending quilt classes at our local new library. Also,I am bringing my sewing machine back out in plain sight and have it tempt me at trying my hand at some sewing projects! That's a start,I'll see how this goes and then maybe even more changes will come later. I feel encouraged just by typing these words and reading them back to myself, thereby holding myself accountable to this plan.......with God's help I hope to succeed.
Blessings..may you have a fruitful week too.

I like your plan! Have been going to the gym for 9 months, 5 days a week and am so happy at my progress. It's good to have a plan and revise it once in a while...I will use your post to think about today. I sew, too, so you will have a cheerleader in me!

Have a good week!

I'll be praying that you have victory this week Shelley!

Keeping the sewing machine out is a good idea. I know it works for me. : )

"Anything is better than not trying at all!" SO TRUE! I'll be praying that you'll encouraged by your "baby steps"!!!

One step at a time...You can do it!
I love the idea of a quilting class. I have a few quilt tops from two grandmothers that were never quilted, but I don't have a clue how to even try doing it. Sewing was also something I wanted to start at the beginning of the year, but still haven't. Enjoy all that you do. Having a plan is better than no plan at all.

It does help to write the desires of your heart on paper and read them back. They penetrate into the heart and live within.

I see your blog has taken a turn to the pioneer women in you. Regina was saying the same on Facebook. I think the more the world falls apart the deeper need to fall back to a place in time where life was simple, times were still tough, but the value of a day was golden.

The wedding all done, the kids on their honeymoon to Disneyland, Len busy at work, blessed with 35-40 hrs a week. Jared's 29th birthday yesteday, Darrin soaring at his new job and Melinda in total bliss being a new mom and me, on my last days at the thrift store, on to my new job next Monday and then July...vacation!!!

Life is good, very very good right now.

Happy to back to somewhat NORMAL.

Love you sister friend, as always and always...
