Plum wonderful.....

We were blessed with plums from a neighbors tree.....they are ripening fast and I must make jelly or something with them. I must confess,I haven't made plum jelly before. Any suggestions are appreciated..smile. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Blessings,Shelley

You can put them on the stove with a cup of sugar I think to a cup of fruit...and boil them up...you can do this with most fruits I do it all the time for me and Mom..and I don't buy jams or jellies any longer and I make a small amount one jar for Mom and one for me..and don't have to worry about putting other things to preserve it..it stays fine for several weeks...but if you have a large amount I think you should look on line for recipes to preserve them longer..Have a great evening and Sunday...Blessings Shelly...with Love Janice

Mmm, plums! I like to freeze them and add them to smoothies or make a raw sauce with apples and bananas, and a little stevia for sweetener. My blender gets used lots! :)
