Many thanks....

Thank you all so much for your encouraging comments left on my last post. I will be taking this journey to better health one day at a time. I don't know how long it will take, but I am not going to focus on the long haul...just day to day!
We had our monthly ladies gathering tonight at church. While discussing upcoming events,etc...we talked about the Christmas Bazaar we hold every year to raise monies for missions. This year we are going to be doing things a bit differently. We have ten round tables in our fellowship hall so the ladies will be volunteering to take a table, set a theme for it and work to fill it for the day of the bazaar. My daughter Regina and I have volunteered to set up a table in the "Junktique Style" theme. So we will soon be getting busy with projects to fill our table and space up.  I know its just August and still blazing hot outside, but winter and the holidays will come soon enough, they always seem to come quicker for me with every passing year! I love the Autumn season and can't wait for it to be here. Sitting out on my front porch enjoying cooler weather, watching the leaves fall, and listening to the crows call. Doesn't that sound wonderful? Sure does to me :)

Blessings to you all my dear friends....I thank God for each of you, truly!

Wish I could attend your church Christmas boutique. I still remember pictures from last year where you made the trees in the vintage coffee cans. I am still looking for a can that shape. Wishing you God's help and blessings on your way to better health and more mobility.
God Bless and I love your blog.

Take your time Shelley. Baby steps is really the only way to go.

Do not think of your food as a diet, but instead see it as a way of nourishing our bodies.

Like the Word of Our Lord nourishes us, so does the food He provided.

Blessings,

m.

Ooohh..Juntique. I'd like that table! I know you'll do a good job with that!

Yes, take one day at a time and focus on that! I pray God speeds the recovery process along quickly though!

Blessings,
Tammy
