Annual Thrift Sale and Picnic Day.....more about Jessie.

Google image

Just wanted to let y'all know Jessie is doing just a bit better this morning...I bought some dry dog food in tiny bites, and she was able to eat a bit of it. She still can't lap her water, but I am hoping that will correct itself with time. Thank you dear friends for all your concern and very kind comments...Jessie and I both appreciate them :) Today is the annual sale of the Ladies Auxiliary of our local Salvation Army and as always we are having a picnic afterwards. Jaxon will be with us today so he will enjoy his time at the park very much.
The weather is supposed to be beautiful, maybe just a little too warm for me....in the mid 80's,but I am not complaining :) I pray all of you have a very blessed and beautiful day as well. Some days for me...a slow steady rain kind of day is beautiful and wonderful in itself! Just not when there is a picnic in the plan :)

I'm so sorry to read about Jessie an the snake, but so glad to know she is doing better. I can just see you there ministering to her. What a lucky dog she is to have you to care for her!

Hi Shelley,
I just came by to see how sweet Jessie is doing. When one of our dogs was very ill and having a hard time eating and drinking, the Vet said we could give her a child's formula of a drink with electrolytes in it. Maybe with just a phone call they could tell you if something like that might be good for Jessie. I am so sorry that this heartache has come to you. I do know what it is like to have had a furry friend for a long time and have to try to make them well again. Blessings and Prayers.
I looked at the site for the Christmas stockings... they are doing a wonderful work! When I can I will help them out!

Hope Jessie is doing better.

So sorry to hear about your dog. Mine is sick but not that sick. He goes to the vet Wednesday for what I think is an ear infection. So sad when our pets are ill, kind of the same as our children.
Take care Shelly!
