Mammy and Dawdy Yoder

Villcom ( Welcome) Meet Mammy and Dawdy Yoder. They have been out in the garden this morning gathering fresh vegetables for a nice pot of stew. They are on up in their years now, with  nine children and many grandchildren behind them. Their youngest son Josiah is in charge of the farm these days and they dwell in the adjoining " Grossdawdy Haus " ( grandfathers house) .
Their days are spent enjoying life at its best surrounded by love from all the Kinskinder (grandchildren) . Bouncing the wee ones on their knee, sharing memories, wisdom, joy, and secrets of Amish life with the elder. Sixty and five they have been happily married .  They have much of life to share....maybe they will share their stories here with you :)    We will see!

What a darling couple and they look like they know how to have fun in addition to lots of gardening skills. I hope they share some stories here.

Dear Shelley,

I love the dolls, too! I hope to have Amish neighbors someday, Lord willing.
