Still Away..........

From my front door
I have had a great time here with my parents. Mama and I had a day out and about , going to the Goodwill ,out to eat ,Walmart and a sale or two. We found some great things at Goodwill for Valentines day gifts ,but most of all it was a special day for us. We may get out tomorrow and do something else before I go back home on Tuesday. I brought my dog Duke this time. He is very much out of his comfort zone here and its took him sometime to get used to being away from home, but I think he's starting to like it a bit now  :)
In all his fourteen years...I have never taken him from home, other than a trip to the vet. He is getting more and more feeble in his old age. Soon, I am going to have to make a decision about what is best for him  :(

I have been crocheting lots of red Valentine hearts while I have been here. I made mama a heart garland and hung it up for her. I will share a picture when I am back at home. I enjoyed a wonderful service at my parents little country church today. An older gentlemen preached a wonderful sermon. My brother and his wife visited there too...its was a lovely day. I pray you all have a wonderfully blessed week.

What a blessing to be able to spend time with your parents...I know you must be enjoying every minute of it!
I bet your crocheted hearts are so sweet. I love the little star you sent to me. I used a tiny bit of tape and stuck it on the mirror by by front door....it's there to see each day as I leave the house!

Hi Shelley,
It was great to find a message here from you! I am so glad you are having a good time with your folks. Awesome! And I am glad that you took Duke with you. He may even yet get very used to being there with you from time to time. You will know when his time is full and it is time to let him go. God will show you. And I do understand as we have had a lot of furry family become older. God bless and keep you.
Love,
