I made the little heart the doll is holding a few years back. |
For some reason I am bubbly about Valentines day this year. My mind is thinking of handmade cards....cute little heart shape cookies, cup cakes..pretty dishes and party things. I have always been fond of the holiday, and loved making a valentine box for exchanging cards when I was a girl. It is fun seeing all the vintage cards on Pinterest and the freebies offered on some of your blogs I visit. I so need to get some ink for my printer so I can print some of those sweet images off and make some cards with them. I went to Target today with my daughter Regina and picked up a few items from the dollar bins there. Including one of those cute little mailboxes,an aqua colored one with a red flag. I plan on doing something cute with it. When I do..I'll take a picture and show you! I think I have been bitten by a creative bug because ...the juices are flowing :) I am not so talented, but I try and enjoy myself while I am at it!
Valentines decorations from a few years ago.......I haven't done a bit of decorating for this year...yet,but soon!
Table set for the grands a few years ago.
I still have some of this material below....maybe I will dig it out and make something. Maybe...we'll see!
