A Special Find...........

You are special today... and everyday, my friend! This sweet little plate, I found at our charity shop here in town! I just love it. It reminds me of a Tashor Tudor piece. Don't you think so? The children, the little animals, the birds around the circle of the plate ,the cake...such details! I hung it up right away...I just love seeing it everyday.  It screams " Simple Pleasures " to me.  The makers mark is Royal Crownford, the artist is Norma Sherwood, Staffordshire England.  I wasn't able to find any information on the artist. I have seen these little plates on etsy, they always catch my eye. They come in many different styles. The best thing is I got mine free , you could say, because it came in a bag for 2.50 bargain my mama bought ...packed full of stuff!
Just another one of those sweet little thrift finds.

Dear Shelley,

What a lovely plate! Yes, it does remind me of Tasha Tudor's work, and what a great reminder that every day should be a special one in our lives.

Thank you for sharing!

Love,

Marqueta

That plate is precious! I love going to goodwill. A surprise bag? I haven't seen one here. That would be a treat! I have two thrift stores that. Enjoy. The others are marked too high,I could as well of gone to walmart. I used to get all my kids clothes from there when they were small. Have a blessed evening.

Shelley, I thought it was Tasha Tudor. It has the same sweetness about it.

Yes, it does look "Tasha Tudor style" to me, too! No one beats Tasha Tudor yet, though. It's an adorable little plate. So glad you found it.

Hi Shelley!

I left you a message on FB about all those folks out there posting bad things!

All of a sudden I can't put any pictures on my blog. I have no idea what happened!

Did you send that letter? It never came?

Love the little plate, pure charm! Miss you much!
