LOVE is the Greatest......

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13

I have a bit of shopping to do today! With tomorrow being Valentines day, I have some sweets to buy for my sweets!  :)  I found all the youngest grandchildren plush Valentine toys at the thrift store, like brand new! The older boys will just get candy! I can't believe some of my sweet grandchildren have grown up and become young adults already. My oldest grandsons, the twins, will be 17 on Friday, SMH (shaking my head) . The next in line will be 15 in March, very hard to comprehend, indeed!  I want to take this time and wish all of you my dear blogging friends, a blessed Valentines Day. I pray you all are showered with love and gifts! I don't think we can say " I love you" enough to those we hold near and dear to our hearts, friends, and family alike. I am glad their is a special day set aside for that purpose, but it should be something that is expressed all year long! There are many different kinds of love in our lives, love for a spouse,a child,or other family members..then for friends and even for our little,or big, pets  :)  ,but the greatest love, by far ,comes from above.....one who sticks closer than a brother, sister ,friend or neighbor....our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!  Don't you agree dear friend? I am so very thankful for my Savior, and that his love is shed abroad in my heart. That love is what will carry me through until the end of this life and into the next!

1 Corinthians 13:13 is my very favorite description of what love is...not only a wonderful Biblical quotation but so very true for all people everywhere of every faith. So nice to see that here today!

Happy Valentine's Day! Hope it will be a lovely day!
