Thrift Store Therapy...........

Google image

My daughter Regina and I got out and about today. I had myself a little Thrift Store therapy! Made me feel a little better do :)  I picked up a 1962 Ken case, in fair shape for $1.00, a cute little vintage set of Teddy Bear, made in Japan, salt and pepper shakers, vintage Holly Hobbie book, a brand new little # 4 doll figurine by Enesco, my granddaughter Vivian has her 4th birthday this month....perfect find! Also a book titled, The Doll Maker, and some vintage Aunt Martha's iron on transfers. Found all those at Hospice...we also stopped by Goodwill, but I didn't really find anything there to speak of,except for a little vintage Raggedy Ann and Andy plaque. I will load some pictures later and put them in a post here soon for you to see.

Also,I wanted to add...my neighbor daughters hen has been sitting and some of the baby chicks are hatching...they are so cute. I tried loading a video, but it was to large.

I love thrift shopping. I only really buy at thrift stores! The first Saturday of every month is 50% off everything at our goodwill. I look forward to that day every month!! Love thrift shopping and yard sales:)

I just found your blog. We have some mutual followers and that is how I came across your delightful site. It is a breath of fresh air.
I too am a thrift store shopper. I love finding a bargain and using our money for the more important things in life that matter. I am a Christian, wife, mother and grandmother. I enjoy art, sewing, cooking, gardening, playing guitar and singing. I love making new friends in blog-land and follow everyone that follows me. There is a wonderful community here with women that care about each other, women that pray for one another and spread encouragement.
I would love to invite you to visit, I would love to get to know you better through blogging.
Have a lovely weekend.
