This is my Jessie. She is in the family way,and I am not to happy about that! She is about six years old. I thought she wasn't able to get this way because it had never happened before. I spoke with the vet about it in the past,and he didn't comment much,but as to say I was blessed! Blessed indeed,but as you can see now, she is going to have puppies! That is if she is able to carry them. So I will have the task of finding homes for them,and then fixing Jessie so this doesn't happen again. She has turned into a eating machine... devouring her food as soon as I put it in her bowl.
I hope that doesn't mean she is carrying a dozen! Looks like she is thinking.....Woe is me.....I am to old for this! Yeah...me too Jessie...me too!

Oh dear! That is some dog! What a surprise for you. We'll just have to pray you can get enough people to take the puppies! Hopefully it is easier then getting rid of kittens!
Wow 9 years and never happened before. Poor baby..I hope she is okay.
Even in this... God has a plan. I will be praying for Jessie, his puppies and you, too. I know this is a real shock but perhaps you can find some joy in the new life coming to your home. Sending you both hugs.

She looks like she has an "Oh oops! look on her face in the pictures. When did the vet think the puppies will be born? I am hoping all will be well with her and there will be good homes for all of the puppies.
Poor ole Jessie, and poor Shelley! That's a lot to deal with. I just hope all goes well for a healthy delivery!
