Years ago I received this wonderful Beloved Belindy in the mail from a dear blogging friend...you can't imagine how surprised I was. I had been wanting one for the longest for my Raggedy Ann dolls. For those who may not know,Beloved Belindy is the Nanny of Marcella's Nursery in the Raggedy Ann stories. I don't recall if Linda made this doll herself, but if she didn't ..she very well could! She is gifted at creating wonderful handmade items,and has sent me more things over the years since we have been friends through the internet since about 2007. Right now this sweet doll is staying in the little trailer at my parents home place,where I have taken more of my dolls and fun things. I had to have someone there to care for everybody in my absense,who better than the best Nanny of all times ,
"Beloved Belindy"!

Well,I am off today with daughter Regina,my friend Betty,and even Jaxon gets to tag along with us. We are heading out to the Ladies of our local Salvation Army's Axillary sale . Its an annual event twice a year...Fall and Spring. We usually have a picnic in the park afterward,but with bad weather in the forecast we won't be doing that today,but we will have lunch out together before heading back home. I am looking forward to seeing the many,many things they offer at this fun sale,but I won't be bringing much home...that is for sure and for certain.

I Love your Belinda dolls. I Have the small glass one.. I found at the flea market.. Same dress too.. I just love mine.. But you know, I love dolls.

So glad you are still loving the Beloved Belindy. I have truly enjoyed our friendship over the years, though we have never met. i fee as though the good Lord brought us together and our friendship has made me a better person. Big hugs to you, my friend...
Have fun at your sale! I didn't know that about raggedy ann...Beloved Belindy. I must've had the condensed version when I was little!
