Outside my door......these Mexican Petunias are now blooming, pretty purple flowers!
Collards ....I've eaten a few!
My little garden bed...isn't doing very well! (Below) Bluebird in the pot!
Redbird in another pot!
Still trying to decide the color to paint my home. Applying a bit for a trial run! I'm thinking now...I may go with a tan color, and a prim red for the trim. May be a little cooler weather before the job actually gets done, though!
Old washbasins hanging, waiting to be used, for whatever reason they may be needed.
Like this :) My grandson Colton, when he was a little younger!
The pink petunias in the bucket, voluntarily came back on their own this year.
Here's what you'll see, on the other side of that window :)
Blessings friends...................

What a happy post!
I do paint samples like that, too!
It's so hard to pick paint well.
I've had great luck with the Martha Stewart colors lately.
It must be hard to grow things in such heat. I really like those old wash basins...and I like the summer touches you have around your home. Stay cool!
LOL on your picture of Colton in the washtub.
That's how we took a bath at our cabin up north.
Pretty flowers Shelley.

Shelley, that picture of Colton is absolutely precious! I like all your plants! I have bought 2 schefflera plants and they've both died! :( I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm glad you're enjoying the afghan:) Have a nice day! Twyla
Looks like a glorious summer at your house. I can grow collard greens! Until the white butterfly lays it's eggs and starts to eat them. ha.
But I can get them first at least.
I agree Shelley...it is the little ones who are hurt in these rulings and we must pray for their little souls so that they are not misled.
Shelly, I love the glimpses of your home. They remind me of the homes of my youth. Lots of interesting things that reflect your personality. It's a look - more of a feeling - that I have never been able to recreate. OCD keeps me from getting there, I think. Please keep on sharing with us.
