Blessings of Hope

It's been quite a week, with the birth of our precious Audrey Alexandra, (a beautiful blessing) then too, a long nine hours of  traveling for a day of court with my son , (child custody case) which was reset, by the way! Then traveling nine hours back.  I feel so physically and emotionally drained. You just have to trust the Lord and keep on keeping on.  Life can sometimes seem like a roller coaster. With so many ups and downs, with sometimes just a few days between.  Such as this week was for me! It can really make ones head spin......, but for God! Being honest with all of you when you fight depression, and I do.... these sort of times make you feel like an emotional basket case.  I've gone around with a lump in my throat and for any little reason, something someone says, or some certain situation may arise which in turn, causes tears to overflow.  Its hard for others to understand, and truthfully ,I don't understand myself at times. It can be embarrassing or very frustrating to just start crying having no control over your emotions, and not even having an answer as to why. Thats where I am, but I'm praying and trusting God..... in his time.....I will overcome depression , as well as other physical and emotional disabilities I won't mention at this time. Mostly know, I'm not giving in to my feelings. I plan on fighting till the end. I'm not seeking sympathy....truly.  I just need to express my feelings, and this seems a good place. If I discourage any of you by sharing this sort of thing, please forgive me. Thank you so much for the very sweet comments on Audrey, she and mommy are doing fine, daddy too :)  Praying your Sunday is restful and blessed.  Shelley

Shelley nothing is ever easy, life does have so many ups and downs.
I know you want to support your son, but don't feel bad or guilty for saying NO. I am sure you have done your best for him, he is a grown man.
I love my kids too but they need to stand on their own two feet and I don't get involved because it depresses me too. so why go through something you have no control of.

Hugs Shelley and never give up!!!!
Life is a beautiful journey to follow.

You need to love yourself, Shelley. You are very hard on yourself...no need. You are good and lovely as you are...and you always do the best you can. What more can we do in life? Sending hugs!

Thinking of you tonight, Shelley, and sending you hugs.

It's going to get better, Friend.

When the night has been too lonely and
the road has been too long
And you think that love is only for the
lucky and the strong
Just remember in the winter far beneath
the winter snow
Lies the seed that with the sun's love, in
the spring becomes the rose...
