In the Sick Room

Google
Did you know that there was a time when every upper class home had one, a sick room? I would have made great use of one this week!
I took ill in the early morning hours Tuesday.  I've been very sick all week, today is the first time I've been able to come sit on the couch for awhile. I'm still not completely over this bug, but definitely starting to feel a bit better. I wish this upon no one.  It's left me feeling like a rung out dish rag. Weak as a kitten.  Just horrible, but I'm alive and thankful for it. I hope your weekend is blessed♡

I hope you get your strength back and feel better very soon. Rest up and keep cozy. There is so much flu going around. I wish I had a hazmat suit to wear whenever I leave the house.
Take care.

I guess the sick room was needful because so many children shared one room. What a resourceful plan to have a sick room. So sorry you've needed one, Shelley. This has been a terrible year with sickness. More people in my circle of acquaintances have had the flu this year than any year in a very long time. Praying for your continued recovery.
