I pray you are having a wonderful Lord's day thus far.....I have had a couple of very tough days,with pain. Not only my knees,but hip too. Also,I am having pain shoot through my lower back.It doesn't last long ,but its really painful when it hits.So,I skipped going to Sunday School this morning,but will be going for morning worship and preaching. I made an appointment with the doctor on Tuesday. Not looking forward to that as I usually get the same old run around. I pray this time things will be different,if not I will be looking for another doctor. Don't mean to sound like a complainer ...just thought I could use your prayers. Which I would very much appreciate.
The picture of the Amish children above,my daughter Regina recently gave me. I cleaned off my desk good and had my son hang it for me. I just love it...,but I find myself wanting to tell these children to be careful lest they fall...smile.
As always I am moving things around,changing and trading places with things. Some more stuff got put in my "To Go Box" ! Going to our church rummage sale!
I have gifts from dear blogging friends like you to remind me of your friendship afar. Though we may never meet face to face....I love how we connect...heart to heart!

Love your displays of sweet treasures. I have prayed for you today as I know how difficult it is when your body doesn't want to co-operate with you. Going through some health issues of my own, I understand the trust issues with doctors. You wonder sometimes if they have your best interests in mind or if they even know what they're doing. One thing we can be sure of, is that the "Great Physician" knows and cares about every ache and pain we have! I'm praying that the Lord would give your doctor wisdom to know just how to help you. Oh Shelley, I know about knee, hip and back pain and I am sorry to hear you are having them. My prayers for you will include these and your Dr. appointment. I really hope they can help you.

Oh Shelley, I am sorry to hear that you are going through so much pain. I'll be praying for you dear friend.
I can understand about how you feel with going to the doctor. I am going to the doctor as well on Tuesday about my insomnia and low energy, and I'm not looking forward to that either. We'll just have to pray for each other that we'll both survive and not get the "ole run around."
P.S. Who is the kind gentlemen in the swing on your header, and who is giving him a gentle push? :)
This is a constant battle for you and I'm glad you are going to the doctor. Perhaps he can give you something for the pain or find out why and what is hurting. It took me a long time to trust my Doctor but when I had that cyst he was there for me and such a good doctor. I know your community is small, perhaps it's time to find another Doctor if you feel like you are getting a run around.
Keeping you always in prayer. I hate to see you hurting in anyway.
