My visit to Mr.Trading Post man.....

My son loves creating.....He made this bench from an old bedstead I had. He has made these in the past and sold them really quick. He decided to visit Mr.Trading Post man here in our little town,to see if he might have some more bed frames to work with....he found one and some old flooring broads as well. I looked around and came up with a few finds myself. When I asked Mr.Trading Post man...how much? He said ..O you just go on and take those and don't worry about paying me. I smiled and said ..thank you very much!

This bowl is very heavy,as you can see it has a big chip out of it,but I like it anyway. It is very old that's for sure and for certain!

Got a little crock as well.....and what looks like to me,an old hand woven basket.

Then this set of salt and pepper shakers and the old water crock below.

Just old junk to some folks, but I am pretty happy with my gift of junk! Yes sir're,pretty happy!
I also was given a cute little set of ducks for the flowerbed, but I forgot to get a picture of them. I will share them some other time!

Blessings,Shelley

The bench is beautiful! You have GOOD kids! (and grandkids). Your grandchildren will always have the memories of growing up visiting you and planting flowers, eating in your kitchen, etc! I cherish my memories...my one grandma's kitchen was only the size of most bathrooms....and she raised 9 kids cooking in it! love, andrea
