Feel Good Day....yea

As you can see I made changes to my blog. I think this better suits me,maybe for a while anyway :) I also made a few changes in my home. Nothing major, but what I was able to accomplish felt really good. I felt better today than I have in many days...Praise the Lord!

I found a couple bundles of old silverware recently and decided to clean them with a method I learned from Pinterest.
Line your sink with foil. Add one half cup table salt and one half cup baking soda. Then drop in your silver to soak for about 30 minutes. It worked really well, but I did finish up with a little toothpaste rub to them.
Then a rinse and dry.

Nice and shiny! You think? Looking pretty in this little crock. My other project you will find in the first picture...I painted the little shelf over my kitchen sink black, and distressed it just a bit. Did some other things as well, like filling another "To Go Box"...still weeding through all my stuff :)  Blessings

Love the new blog look Shelley...IT IS you! Also love the picture of your "kiddos" on the sidebar.

The shelf by your sink looks great painted black...you always have that fixed up so sweet. Great tip on the silverware too!

But I think the best part of this post is your comment about feeling better than you have in many days! Praise the Lord indeed!

I like this look on your blog and it's fun to learn new things. Isn't Pinterest an amazing space in time? It inspires me to no end.

I just mailed a letter to you yesterday and I got your letter. Such a delight. I miss letter writing and find it so hard to believe that it is becoming a long lost art so to speak. I'm hanging on to the end, until I can't write or see anymore to push the pen.

I have a little box of wonders coming to you within the next couple of weeks. No reason just a package of goodies.

Blessings and hugs to you.
Love you much!
