Brighter days ahead......I pray!

My goodness I never thought having an MRI done would be so painful, but laying flat of my back on a very hard surface having to be perfectly still for almost over an hour was torture for me. It was also very difficult to breathe to the point I thought I may have to push the panic button, but I just closed my eyes prayed, quoted scriptures over and over and was able to endure peacefully. I will soon know if anymore is going on with my back besides the arthritis. With all that said ...I still have much hope in my heart of brighter days ahead for my life. For a more well, fit body! Hiking or even riding a bike.....its possible. This will be my last post of such talk for a long time...No more poor me stories...I plan on sharing good things to come :) Blessings

Congratulations for getting through it! These tests are difficult sometimes...you were very patient and prayer helped you through. Hope all will be well with you. I don't see it as "poor me" but "brave you!"

Glad that is over for you! Anything medical is never fun. I bet you were so happy to get back home.

I'm like that too...I'll maybe not be able to breath (such as, at the dentist) and I will just pray instead of complain! Hopefully God will just watch over us, and make us complain when it is really needed. love, andrea

Oh Shelley...I know how painful it must have been for you and trying to stay calm through it all, well, it is hard.

But relaxing and bringing Our Lord into focus, is really the only way to endure everything that happens in our lives.

Take your time with your eating plan and your exercise routine. Begin slowly and calmly.

I have a really good book that I purchased awhile ago, called Gentle Eating. If you want, I'll pass it on to you. Let me know.

Grace & Peace to you today,

m.

Oh Shelley,
This is not a "poor me" post at all! You are just sharing with us part of your life! Please do tell us how you really are doing and what the results show. I have had a very painful MRI and so I know how it can be. I am so glad you could hang on to finish the test while finding strength and comfort in our Lord.
Yes! Do plan on better days ahead... I believe they are coming for you! I am praying for you.
Love,
Lily

I have never been to your blog before, but I saw your tiny photo on a comment that you had made and I thought you might be a Christian lady, so I came over to check out your blog.
I do hope "all" you have is arthritis, that's bad enough, without it being more than that.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Cindy

Oh Shelley...I'm sorry the MRI was so difficult for you. Praise the Lord for bringing you through it because maybe you'll get some answers and some direction because of it.

Bless your sweet heart...you just feel free to share anytime! That's what friends do!

Love the pretty image you used today.
