A Peek into My Bedroom....

Not a lot of words today....Just thought I would let you see into my bedroom...I spent a lot of time in here yesterday cleaning, and I did promise long ago to show you this antique bed I inherited from my daughter Regina after she bought a new bedroom suit months back. I would rather have this bed than any new one I could pick off a show floor. I love it. It is over 100 years old!

One day I hope to get a better camera..this one doesn't take pictures as well as I would like for it to. Blessings to all,Shelley

Lovely! We have an old iron bed frame, too. It's a third generation bed. I love it!

Your bed is gorgeous and you have the most beautiful quilt for it, too. I see some pretty dolls here and there! Of course I still love the old ones like we had when we were girls! Enjoy your afternoon. We're getting some of those welcome showers here today! Hugs!

Hello Shelley. I am giving blogging another try. I see they have redone things and I guess I am going to have to learn all over again. Girl, I so love your antique bed. My Mom has 2 that her Dad bought for her years ago and they are both probably over 100 years old as well. One is a white wrought iron bed and the other is a green one. One of these days when I'm down there, i will try to think to take a picture of the white one and post it. Your bedroom looks so cozy. Me and hubby still need to get our bedroom here at our new apartment straightened up. One never knows how much stuff they collect over the years. We found that out when we moved back in June. Hope you have a wonderful evening. May GOD Bless you dearly my friend.

We had old beds that were simular to yours, the metal frames are nice. I also liked your dressing table, it reminded me of the ones we had growing up. Thanks for the visit down memory lane.

Dear Shelley,

I loved this peek into your bedroom! The bed is so beautiful, and you have everything arranged so sweetly.

I'm a little late to pray before your mama's surgery, but I'll be praying for a quick recovery.

Love,

Marqueta
