Stocking Ministry...

I spent a wonderful evening last night at the home of one of the ladies from our church group. There were 14 of us gathered there for fun,food and fellowship. We also filled the stockings we made at our last meeting to send to Dallas to be distributed to many boys and girls through the Metro Dream Center,some who will receive nothing else for a Christmas gift,other than that stocking. As I was filling those stockings as full as possible,I thought of all the sweet happy faces of the little recipients when they are given them . I do wish I could have taken some pictures of the home where we met. It is just beautiful...set down a long country road at the top of a hill! Looking out from the wide open space in the back...the sunset was just beautiful. Some of us ate our meal out on the deck...and watch deer grazing afar off in the pasture below us. So peaceful and beautiful. Blessings,Shelley
