Simply Christmas 2012

From my simple little home to yours.....Merry Christmas to all.....

My little tree...its only 2 ft. ..not sure if I will put up a bigger one this year.
This teddy bear is my tree topper.

My Advent box.

Over the kitchen sink.

Out the front neighbor daughter's cat,Tom, sleeping on my porch table :)
The candles in the window have timers set to come on and go back off after eight hours.
A Dollar General store find for $2.00 each ! I have one in my kitchen and bedroom window as well.

Top shelf of my desk.

Simple is...Simple does! Have a blessed weekend.

Dear Shelley,

I love your around the house photos; how nice of your neighbor's cat to come pose for them, too!

I still have to clear a few shelves before I have room to put up decorations; where does all that stuff come from, anyway? ;)

Everything looks so pretty and cozy in your home. Even your neighbor's kitty looks cozy. I have been looking for some inexpensive candles w/timers like you have. Yours look very pretty. I can be rather forgetful at times, so real candles make me a little nervous if they're lit.I got so sidetracked making my Santas that I am just now putting away the Fall decorations. Hope to get Christmas things out this weekend and do some decorating. We are supposed to have snow flurries by Monday here in St. Louis.

Shelley, You are so sweet to share all your beautiful photos of your cozy Christmas home. I so enjoy my visits to your blog. I was surprised to see your Home Sweet Home picture - I have one exactly like it! It's in our entry hall. It's about 20 years old. I love the little Peace blessing written on it.
Hugs and Blessings for a lovely Christmas,

Hi Shelley,

Thank you for opening your home to us through your sweet photos. I love your advent box! Very nice!

And I love that kitty, Tom, too. I wish I could scoop him up for a snuggle. I have a weakness for Orange and White cats!

Love to you,
