Praying the New Year in...the old year out.....

Last night when the clock struck 12:00 ...I was laying in my bed reading "Little Women" ,but I laid my book aside and began to pray to my Heavenly Father. I ask for guidance in the new year, forgiveness for any sins of 2012. I pray for his will to be done in my life,in the new year...in the lives of those I love ...that they may prosper and be in health. I prayed for the church (worldwide) ,that as a church we may allow the Holy Spirit to accomplish his work in us. For God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Just a simple quiet prayer, but earnest just the same. He is an awesome, just God and I trust him completely!

I was also thinking of all of you when I prayed that prayer! When we trust God completely ..we should have no fear of what lies ahead nor should we fear what was in yesterday.God is able...to take care of our tomorrows and our past.....let us continue to press on,and trust him completely....so be it!

Thank you, Shelley, for your prayer last night that covered so many. May it be answered in wonderful ways. Bless you.
And yes, we trust - always in our Father and His ways. Learning to trust deeper and deeper is my heart's cry.
Sending you prayers, too.
Love,
