Wonderful day........

We had a great time yesterday at the sale, and having lunch! After lunch we went to visit one of our favorite antique malls..."Ye Olde City Mall ". Of course,I saw many treasures that I couldn't afford, but the looking is always fun. I spent a grand total of $5.25 at the Ladies Auxiliary sale. It was stuffy and very humid, with no AC in the building, I did not last long. My $5.25 went a long way though......

1979 Gerber Baby doll
12 inch porcelain doll by artist "Bessie Pease Gutmann"
Small clothespin doll
Handmade quilted pillow sham
Pottery Bowl,very unique!
Primitive wall hanging basket

Not bad,is it?

This antique mall is set up in an old loading warehouse near the railroad depot in the old part of Tyler.
I love "old Tyler" with its old buildings and brick streets.

A little inside the mall....do you like red?  :)

I liked these darling prim baby shoes, and the paper dolls.

Dolls are always an eye catcher for me :)

Look at this old tub made into a huge fairy garden. Isn't that little boy so cute standing by it ?
I sure think so :)

My little Prince Charming!

Jaxon wanted to take Meme's picture while I was resting.
It's a bit blurry...by this time I was all done in for.....exhausted and ready to go home!

While Jax and I were waiting in the jeep for Regina and Betty to finish shopping, I spotted a little dove nesting in one of the hanging planters at the mall....we were so excited to see her there.
Isn't she beautiful? You can click on the picture, to go bigger for a better look.
If you go back to the first picture, you can see this basket on the right, hanging by the large open door to the mall.

Well,I do hope your Lord's day is very blessed....until next time,Shelley

Shelly, what fantastic finds , and all for $5.. I love those shopping sprees with friends and family.. So fun.
Yes, that is an adorable little boy you have there..
I so understand the humidity and no air..eeeh.. I have asthma and am battling it today.. I wouldn't have made it very long either..
Proud you had fun.. Can't wait to see your dolls all cleaned up.. Know they will be so pretty when you post them.

That looks like a great place to find treasures. Your grandson looks so cute. He is already a very good photographer. I am looking forward to seeing pics of the treasures that you brought home.

That looks like a neat place! I would love to go there. Doves are my favorite bird. They seem so shy...they scurry away if I try to snap their picture! You got great bargains!

Hi Shelley!
My goodness that looks fun! Your post has inspired Len and I to leave for a little antique adventure ourselves! In one hour, we will load up the dogs, put our play clothes on and grab a few bucks to spend on whatever our heart desires! I wish I was Bewitched and I could blink twice and we'd be at this antique mall with you.

Did you get my letter? Hugs sent, I love you dearly!!!
The dove is pure joy!
