I slept well last night, and woke up feeling much better today. It has been a hard week, but I know it was all for my good. I am grateful for the wisdom God gives doctors to fix us,but I believe he is still the one who brings our ultimate healing about. My praise always goes to him first! I also thank God for willing vessels he uses as Prayer Warriors to help us fight against any evil in the way of emotional, spiritual, and physical circumstances that may come our way. You, my friends are proven vessels of honor on my behalf. Thank you so very much...your prayers have been felt by myself, and honored by the Almighty! You are a blessing indeed. I pray God may return the blessing to you all,ten fold!

Before surgery, as I was straightening my bedroom, I discover the most wonderful book on my shelf. "StillMeadow Seasons" by Gladys Taber.
What a joy it was to read this,as I was laid up in bed and couldn't do much else this week :)
I think I must have picked this book up while thrift shopping at sometime or the other, thinking it would be a good read! I am so happy I did. Now, I will be looking for more of Mrs. Taber's books. If you would like to learn more about her ,go here.
Maybe,I am the only one who is just discovering Gladys, but I am thankful I finely have because I am going to really enjoy reading more of her work.

I did not realize you had surgery. I am so glad you are feeling better...I hope you continue to heal quickly. There is nothing better than a good big when you are down. Glad you found an encouraging one. Blessings!
I have a large collection of Gladys Tabor books. We certainly have a lot of reading in common.
Glad to hear you are recovering nicely. Take it slow and don't over do. Blessings to you.
That is wonderful news that you are feeling better! I am so glad and pray for you more healing and good nights of peaceful rest.
Thank you for wanting a ten-fold blessings back to us!

So proud your feeling better, and had a restful nights sleep. May God continue to bless you and help you with your recovery.. Hugs.
I am glad you are feeling better, Shelley!
I also think it is God directing all things like this, also. When anyone has had surgeries in my family, I've always sat in the waiting room praying for God to guide the surgeon.
So nice you had the book to recover with!
I read Stillmeadows a few years ago when I saw it in our library. I read all they had. Then, I couldn't get enough - I went to the website that fans have made for her and read all about her life there. I loved it. I should go back and read them again. I enjoyed them so much.
So glad you are doing better!!
I first read the Tabor books several years ago at the library. I read every one they had in the catalog! I loved them. There are a few they never had, but I always keep a look out, knowing at some point I will run across a new old find just for me! Such good clean inspiring stories. I also loved a series from England called 'Thrush Green' and other books by Mrs. Read. If you ever get any of them, you will love them too! Hoping you have a very healing peaceful week ahead, hugs!
