This was my choice last Easter....I always wear a hat on Easter Sunday.
A snood I crocheted once.
Another cap like bonnet.
Can't forget my Amish bonnet...haven't wore it in public...... yet :)
This little gal rather loves her hats too!
I love this old fashion gal's bonnet, but I much rather have some of her Parker's Tonic! Might do me some good :) You are welcome to save these two images, if you like.
Lots of my family like wearing hats as well. My son calls this hat...his cover!
My beautiful girl..............
Her baby son likes his hats too..........sweet Jaxon! This hat is Texas size.
In this picture my son had just took his new hat off and gave it to his granddaddy. That made me proud.
My beautiful mother at around 18 yrs old. A true Texas beauty!
And if you have a tea party...one must wear a hat indeed! My friend Betty and I are so over due for a picnic...its been to long.
Thank you for stopping by, now go find your hat and put it on :) Blessings friend

Dearest Shelley,
I love this post! You are a hat person for sure, and you wear them well! How sweet and cute, lovely and handsome are all the pictures! I love hats too, and also scarves!
Blessings and love, linnie
What lovely hats! =) You are so lovely in them too. Love the tea party pictures.
Blessings,
Valerie
Your hats look cute on you. I have two hats that I wear. One is a black sort of fedora. I wear it when it rains, as I don't like trying to carry an umbrella when I need to be out and about in the rain. I always feel taller and slightly disguised when I wear my black fedora.
My other hat is a very large brimmed straw hat that I wear out in the garden. I got sun/heat sick last summer and don't ever intend to let that happen again. It is amazing how much cooler it is when wearing a big straw sun hat, plus it helps prevent more wrinkles and sunspots on my face, not to mention the part in my hair getting sunburned.
Jaxson and your Dad look handsome in their Texas style hats, as does your son does in his cover.
I wonder what was in that Parker's Tonic. I think I could use a few sips of that myself.
I like your hats best!!!!!
Oh my goodness! I love your hats. I would love to wear hats, I think, but I look horrible in them. I do have a few ball caps I wear when we go out on the boat. I also have a couple of sunbonnets. I usually just wear a fasinator on Easter Sunday. Maybe when I lose all this weight I will try wearing hats more often. I love that you have a friend that like to go on picnics and wear hats, too! Wish I could come along.
Grace & Peace.
I really enjoyed this post. I have thin, fine hair, so wearing a hat gives me pasted down hat hair. Ugh! :)
Lovely pictures of friends and family!
I never was much of a hat-wearer, but since chemo I have learned to love the look...and actually am having a bit of fun with them.
Funny, but I just got home from the pharmacy where the subject of wearing hats came up between me and two pharmacists only minutes ago!
I love your hats!! I found your blog through your Pinterest...I just love it!
Have a blessed day!,
Mrs B
You look so pretty in your hats.. And your mom is beautiful..[I think you favor her a lot]
Never worn a hat.. but You make them look great.
A fun post! I like Jaxon's Texas hat the best! Enjoy the rest of the week.
Hi sweet Shelley!!! It was so good to hear from you!! Thank you for stopping by to pay me a visit ~ and you look just adorable in hats! Me, not so much. What a wonderful post dear friend. I hope you are doing so good!!! hugs and love, Dawn
I wear hats all the time Shelley. It keeps me warm in the winter and so cool in the summer. I like this post. I'll probably take a picture of myself soon with my bonnet ;)
You all look wonderful in your hats! I have a large noggin', so I don't look good in hats. I do like a good cowboy hat to shade my face.
