I thought this Autumn image from pinterest was very sweet, but the poem really doesn't express my feelings for Autumn. I love the fall season, and I'm happy its drawing near. Our summer has been much more mild than usual, however I'm still anticipated the first day of Autumn. I will most likely celebrate :)
I am almost finished with my reborn baby. I searched some hobby stores for a pre make body , but couldn't find one to work, so I got brave and sewed one, using the old body as a pattern. It took me a while, but I did it!
She isn't close to the ones I've seen on ebay , but shes my first and a cheap make do. I named her Ruth Anne......with an E. I haven't dressed her, but I'll give you a picture showing her body I made.
These were took with my tablet and not so clear. After she is dressed I'll take pictures with my camera and post them another day.

You did a great job on her. I'm not sure I would have been brave enough to make the body but this is a good idea. Now she's just like new! Anne with an E...I love it! I posted a doll related find today! Hope you can stop by to play! Hugs, Diane
Oh what a wonderful gift to a baby doll! Re-birth! We should all be so lucky! LoL
I'm ready for Fall as well!
Grace & Peace.
Hi, Shelley,
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year...all the pretty leaves and bright colors and cooler temperatures.
You did a beautiful job on the baby! I think it makes it much more special that you did it all by hand. I have a cousin by the name of Ruth Ann, though I'm not sure if it's Anne with an E. :-)
I hope you have a great week. I've really been enjoying going back through your previous posts...a real blessing to read what you've written.
Excellent job Shelley!! I can't wait to see Ruth Anne in her clothes!
Like you, I love Fall...and I'm so happy that it's almost here!
I love fall as well!
I love how these are turning out. What a great hobby!
Shelley, I love your re-born baby! She is darling. You did a great job. My sister did this for her child hood doll. I keep forgetting to visit your blog. It's so nice to stop by.
