Antique German Doll

This is a doll given to me recently by a friend.  She is antique with a porcelain head and a wooden jointed body. Shes about 16 inches tall, maybe a little bit more.  Her wig was long curls, but I cut it, liking a short bob cut better for her. She has fit in well, with the other dolls and feels right at home.

I haven't given her a name yet. Any suggestions?

Hope you all have a blessed week.  I had a wonderful visit with my parents. Now I'm back home in my own little nest.  I'm going to try and savor each day before Christmas all , but comes and goes.

She's beautiful, Shelley. If she has marks on the back of her head you may be able to find out more about her. Just a heads up for next time: if her wig was original, it is better to remove and save it and substitute the style you like. Then, if you have occasion to sell her, you can sell the original wig with her. It is not certain that a doll that age would have her original wig, by any means. Enjoy your lovely little lady. :)

Adele, Beatrix, Elise, Diana, or Elenore? She is beautiful no matter what her name!

I trust you had a wonderful time with your parents.

Grace & Peace.

Is she marked?
If you can't find out, were she comes from, you can ask in a special austrian forum

And if she's german, she probably needs an -older- german Name, right?
