Pictures of my sale finds...

These are most of the things I found at my favorite thrift sale last week.....these dolls bodies are clothes pins, thus the hands and feet...I believe their hair is wool of some kind...whoever made them did a wonderful job...don't you think?

Made in Japan figurines.

The three books in the back are dated 1907. I love the Revival Praises...such wonderful old songs....I sat and sang so many of them while looking through it for the first time :) Blessed my soul!
Little ironstone plate...you can't tell from the picture, but it has slight crazing from the aging process.
I love it just that away.
Lap Quilt..for .50 cents mind you.... Its folded in half,to give you an idea of the size.
It is tacked together with embroidery floss.

I saved a few things for another time....I am leaving for the Ladies retreat tomorrow morning...I am feeling a bit better today..whatever was making me feel terrible yesterday has past...thank you sweet friends for all your very kind comments and prayers....they all mean so much...blessings,Shelley

Hi Shelley! Some great finds there. I especially love the old books. We have several charity shops (thrift stores) nearby, but only one of them sells books as old as the ones you found; I always make a beeline to that shop! I love to collect old school text books and readers and also old prayer books. Blessings x x

Those rageddy Andy and Ann clothes pin dolls are simply adorable! I know how much you love your raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, so I bet your heart was soaring when you bought theses. :)

Your other thrift finds were wonderful as well. I can't believe you got that nice big quilt for only .50 cents, wow! What a great deal!

I hope that you have a wonderful time at the ladies retreat!

Blessings to you! :)
