As night falls.....

I am gonna leave a quick post tonight because tomorrow I will be busy with the Church Christmas Bazaar. Well, for the next three days really. I have hit a couple of bumps in the road (so to speak)with some family matters already this week....one of my brothers was told today by his doctor that he has cancer. I am trying not to let this stuff get me down....just gotta trust God and pray...that's exactly what I am doing to.

Gotta get up early in the morning and bake a cake to take for the customers to snack on while they are shopping at the bazaar. I had a extra long table full of stuff to sale...spent some time today setting up and pricing. I will try and get some pictures of the different things for sale there to bring back and share with you all....ladies have been busy. My daughter Regina knit some beautiful prayer shawls and a scarf. I hope everything sells good...the money is going for a good cause. Goodnight sweet friends...blessings and pleasant dreams! But perhaps you are reading this post the next day...if that is the case...then the blessing is the same!

One thing about the "bumps" in the road, the Lord is always right beside us. Will be praying for your brother and for you.
Hope you enjoy your time at the Bazaar and that it is a complete success! Can't wait to hear about it!

You have given a lot of yourself to this bazaar, and so has your daughter! That's what it's all about.

I love the first song that comes up on your blog page. I used to turn the sound off, but one day, depressed, I just listened to the words. They were just what I needed.

Sorry to hear about your brother. You and he will be in my thoughts.

Have fun with the Church Christmas Bazaar. With all of the cute items that you showed us that you had made, and cake, too, it should do very well indeed. Looking forward to seeing your pics of everything.

Best wishes.

I know all too well about "bumps in the road." I've been experiencing alot of those lately myself.

I am sorry to hear that one of your brothers has cancer. I will keep in my thoughts. I pray that God will keep him safe within His shelter and grace.

I hope that you will enjoy yourself at the Church Bazaar. Be sure to let us know how it went.

Blessings to you!

When news like those are given to one that we love, we begin to fret and worry and become quite anxious.

But stay close to HIM Shelley. Let His comfort bring you peace.

Enjoy the bazaar! :0) m.

First, I am sadden to hear about your brother Shelley. Oh my goodness, he has a challenge ahead of him. We all have a story don't we?

To think of you sitting at the bazaar and selling your goods is simple charming. I can picture it, as though I was sitting right next to you. Today, I will be taking a small group of seniors to a craft bazaar. This year we have so many to go to, it's pure joy and so much fun.

We have been blessed with another weekend together. It's been so rare for Len and I to even have a day off together and we have had two weekends in a row! We plan to check out some craft fairs and take it easy and relax.

Shaun's surgery went well. He had quite a bit of pain and it will take him about a week to get back on his feet. Kara is tired, she slept by his side in the hospital all last night. The doctor said the stent went in well and for once in Shaun's life, he will now have better blood flow. Open heart surgery coming in Jan. to get the twisted and crimped aorta fixed.

Love you, I mailed back a letter to you.
