Keeping Christmas Simple

My computer was down for a couple of days so I didn't get to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I do pray you had a beautifully blessed day, mine was wonderful...spent with my children and grandchildren at my son's home. Maybe you are busy today putting up Christmas decorations, or maybe out shopping. I don't do the black Friday thing, do you?  I have been busy crocheting some Christmas gifts for the grands. I am having a frugal Christmas this year,as far as my gift giving goes. I can't really think of one thing my kids need ,not anything that I could afford anyway :) ,but I will try and give things that may make them smile or happy for a bit. If I succeed in doing so,then all will be well. My tree will go up this afternoon, with help from my daughter Regina. We are putting up my six foot tree, hanging all the old keepsake ornaments on it this year. The ones the kids have made and brought home from school through the years, and other special ones I have saved. No mess or stress this year...just being most thankful for Christ coming to earth in the form of man....fully God...fully man.....the greatest gift of all gifts .....to all mankind.
The battery in my camera died just as I started taking pictures, these are a few that my daughter took... there were 17 of us.....my kids, my grands and my youngest son's girlfriend. It was a blessing just to spend the day together, sharing food and fellowship.

My girls and I.

My daughter Kathy and grandson Isaiah.

My son's girlfriend Jessica,my granddaughter Jalyn and I.
Blessings to you all

Ah, family together! My most thankfulness is still that Jesus made possible the impossible. Thank you for sharing. :)
