Becky's Garden

Becky's garden is a little old fashion and I just love it. Many of the plants and flowers are from an antique or wild variety. She named them all for us,but I can't repeat them now...sorry...maybe you can recognize some  :) I do remember her telling me the very pink flower was an antique variety. Becky did tease and asked us to " Please, don't eat the Daisies ", refering to the old Doris Day movie...do you know it?  Cute movie! The movie was inspired by the book by Jean Kerr 1957

My two wonderful friends...Becky and Betty.

It was a beautiful day for a walk through Becky's little garden. I did not know my picture was being taken here and have a bit of frown on my face...which I have often because it hurts to walk. I wasn't unhappy though ...just in pain.  The young lady is Betty's daughter Heather.

Oh,and we were good and did as Becky asked....we did not eat any of her daisies  :)
Blessings to all

Your friend has a beautiful garden with such interesting collectibles to look at!

I have empathy for the pain you have walking. The pain from the arthritis I have in my knee makes me frown to the point where I have a small groove forming between my eyes, yet I am not mentally ready to get knee replacement surgery. Working in my flower beds takes my mind off of my pain while I am out there, but my knee sure reminds me at night if I have too much fun in the garden in a day.

It looks like you enjoyed a beautiful spring day in your friend's garden. I am glad you showed us around.

What a lovely garden! I love how she incorporates the bottles, trellis, and enamelware in with the flowers. I am anxious here in the Northeast to see some blooms - right now I'll just have to appreciate the forsythia and flowering almond trees. Thank you for sharing Becky's garden!
